Privacy Notice

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for Homegrownaccents.com. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by Homegrown Accents. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing 

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information 

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

  • See what data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security 

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Registration 

In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

Orders 

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

Purchasing Policies

We create custom pieces for homes or events. Processing time is 3 weeks for custom orders, however often times we complete them early, which means we will send it out at that time. Any order that needs to be received before 3 weeks will require a rush delivery charge, which is $40 plus $5/item ordered.  We do not accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges. However, if a correction to an order needs to be done after the payment has processed we try to accommodate that as best as possible. Typically, these corrections will be free of charge, unless it affects a floral order, in which case, there may be a small fee associated due to any product loss.

Shipping costs are based on standard shipping fees from the USPS which includes the size dimensions and weight of your order.

Event Decorations Policy

We are always excited when we get new clients and we can't wait to begin designing your event with you! However, to ensure our time and work product remain protected, we require a $25 non-refundable deposit for our design consultation that will be applied to your final bill. By making this deposit you agree to have this amount deducted from your account before we create our concepts for your event. This payment can not be cancelled or refunded at any time and will be processed through PayPal or on our site through Stripe. 

Typically, once the deposit has been received we will have our first concept ideas to you within 48 hours. If changes need to be made to anything we designed they need to be noted before we take the payment for the remaining budget, which must be paid before we create the pieces you need for your event. However, we will work through as many changes as you see fit until the concept is exactly as you envisioned it would be before you pay the final charge.

The final cost, not including Shipping and Handling, will be due after the consultation is complete and before we create the products you agreed on. We do not process refunds for this design consultation deposit.

Once you approve of all the ideas we create for you and determine no corrections need to be made, then the final invoice with a breakdown for the cost of the items you selected will be sent to you via PayPal. If you need to make any changes, please do so before you make your final payment, as this transaction is non-refundable and can not be cancelled once it has been processed. Once you’ve confirmed the products you need us to create, please pay your invoice in full. 

This final invoice includes the $25 deposit you made previously to secure the Consultation for this Design Concept and is applied to the total cost of your selected products, but does not include Shipping Costs (which will be sent via USPS) as they are calculated based on the weight of the finished products. Shipping costs will be paid in full before the items are shipped to you. Once the order is completed, we will send you one last invoice for Shipping and Handling before we send the items to you.

As our client, we want you to be aware that we will be at your disposal until your event is over. This can include, but is not limited to, advice on setting up the décor you receive for your event, advice on utilizing the product in your home after the event is over, and general guidance on running any sort of event. We believe that our clients deserve more bang for their buck and since you chose to work with us, we choose to go above and beyond just creating decorations for your event.
